Explore haunting Southern stories where secrets rise with the tide
The Etienne Arceneaux Mystery Series
Gritty. Suspenseful.
Etienne “Tee” Arceneaux knows the Louisiana marsh like the lines in his weathered palm. As a Wildlife & Fisheries agent, he was trained to track hunters and shrimpers, not traffickers and killers. But when the disappearance of a childhood friend leads to a body in the bayou, Tee stumbles into a violent undercurrent of corruption, smuggling, and exploitation running through the bayou like a dark tide.
What begins with a missing boater unravels into a deadly network that reaches from offshore oil platforms to the French Quarter, from backwater bait shops to the highest levels of law enforcement. Alongside unlikely allies, including a disgraced DEA agent, Tee must walk a tightrope between justice and survival, exposing the truth in a place where silence is a way of life and betrayal cuts deep.
Steeped in Cajun culture and the slow burn of Southern noir, the Etienne Arceneaux Mystery Series is a gripping ride through the swamps and shadows of modern-day Louisiana. Loyalty is tested, justice is personal, and the water always remembers.
